Visual Manna Christian Art & Business Internships
A Transformational Art Mentorship for Christian Homeschool Students
Are you looking for a meaningful, Christ-centered way to develop your student’s artistic gifts while preparing them for real-world opportunities? The Visual Manna Internship Program offers a 3-month (or 300-hour cumulative) art and business experience that equips students with high-level skills, spiritual inspiration, and mentorship from trusted Christian educators.
Internship graduates will receive certification from Visual Manna Academy and have the chance to build a professional portfolio, develop freelance and ministry-ready art, and earn high school or AP Studio Art 2D credit.
🎨 What Students Will Learn
Guided by Sharon Jeffus, founder of Visual Manna and veteran Christian art educator, and Jay Manifold, experienced entrepreneur and business mentor, students will:
- Master the elements and principles of art
- Explore media such as watercolor, acrylic, sculpture, drawing, cartooning, and digital design
- Learn to use Photoshop or GIMP for graphic art
- Develop skills in video and film creation
- Create artwork for murals, ministry projects, galleries, and books
- Attend a live mural camp and gain experience in art for ministry
- Build both physical and digital portfolios
- Learn business fundamentals for freelance and professional work
- Receive exclusive teaching rights to Visual Manna materials
We focus on helping each student identify their favorite artistic medium and develop their own unique, God-given style.
💼 Real Experience, Real Opportunities
Interns will participate in real ministry and commercial projects. When paid commercial work is available, students will receive partial payment and professional credit. They will retain full copyright of their original work, with Visual Manna granted limited use for educational purposes.
💰 Tuition and Scholarships
- $500/month (includes all supplies and materials)

Combine science, art, and God’s creation in this one-of-a-kind outdoor experience. Explore the heavens, paint the stars, and enjoy campfires, fellowship, and meaningful creativity under the night sky.

Calling all writers, illustrators, and aspiring book creators! Bring your manuscript, sketches, or finished projects and join us for a week of collaborative creativity, skill-building, and idea sharing.
This retreat is a space to grow, learn, and be inspired by fellow Christian creatives. Whether you’re illustrating a children’s book, designing a comic, or working on your first novel—iron sharpens iron. Let’s grow together.
